Where we began
Established in 1990, Namaskar began as a small-scale yarn dyeing practice and has since evolved into a thoughtful hub of handmade thread innovation.
What started in the workshops of Ahmedabad — where craft and commerce have always shared the same street — grew steadily over three decades into something more considered: a brand that honors the hands behind every skein.
What we make
Rooted in craft and guided by precision, we specialize in threads for knitting, crochet, rakhi, embroidery, and macramé — each one carefully developed to honor the rhythm and integrity of handmade work.
Every category begins with a question: what does the maker actually need? The answer shapes everything — from fiber selection and twist count to colorway development and finishing. We don't rush that process.
